1982-1984

This well-established architectural partnership, which had been respensible for some very fine public buildings, was looking for a new image with which to take on the cut-and-thrust Britain of the 1980s. Senior partner Hugh Morris and most of his colleagues were pleased with our logotype, but Thatcherist it was not. In fact, there was a just whiff of the Arts & Crafts movement about it. Maybe we didn't do them such a favour.
