The most comprehensive collection to date of Fay Godwin's landscape photographs was much more than a straight anthology: the images were placed in a sequence that began in wiId, lonely places and ended with nature apparently hemmed in by walls; we worked very closely with the photographer in juxtaposing the pairs of photographs in each spread and in fairness we would have to say that she was as much part of the design process as we were.
